Second XtraChallenge, with the Aurora: a larger, more capable aircraft with a hybrid balsa-and-3D-print structure.
The season was defined by an undersized set of flaperon servos that brought down more than eight prototypes. In Valencia, with the servos replaced and a motor lent by the UVigo Aerotech team, the Aurora completed the circuit and landed. 13th of 15, perseverance award and first landing award.
